   Donate a Mammogram Today! Minimize

The Breast Cancersite is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman.

It takes less than a minute to go to their site. Once you get there,  click on 'donating a mammogram' for free (pink window in the middle).

This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.
Please tell ten friends today, ask them to tell tenfriends.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.

Easy way to save money! - Friday, August 08, 2008

Here's a simple way to save money - submitted by Tony D. of Boynton Beach, FL.

As your lightbulbs burn out, replace them with Flourescent bulbs.  Get the Daylight bulbs and you will not be able to tell the difference between the old, energy-wasting incandescent bulbs and the new energy-saving flourescent bulbs.  You will save money on your electric bill in multiple ways: 1. Less electrical watts used, and 2. Less heat created from the burning bulbs.  The heat reduction is significant in that it lets your A/C run easier.  We have seen a substantial and worthwhile improvement in our electric bill since taking Tony's advice.  Give it a shot!

Please feel free to submit your tips and tricks to GreenTips@BeGreenSaveTheWorld.com.

How To Save Money And Go Green

1) Change your light bulbs. Compact fluorescent light bulbs take up less power than a conventional light bulb. Changing to compact fluorescent light bulbs is a great way to go green at home. It’s also a nice way to save some money on your electric bill.

2) Take a shorter shower. This will use lesser hot water and thus save you money on your water or energy bill.

3) Turn off appliances when you are out of the room. This will lower the amount of electricity you use and thus save you some green on your electric bill.

4) Unplug things such as phone chargers or electric heaters when you’re not using them. Even when these things aren’t being used they still take in electricity when they are plugged in. Unplugging them will save you some green.

5) In the winter, keep the oven door open after you have used it. Make sure the oven is turned off before you do this. This is a great way to get some free heat.
